About
the Bistro:
- This
Bistro was initially set-up to test a business theory that is
currently being transcribed into book form.
Our
main goal is to maintain, FAST
and efficient service with large serves of quality affordable
food.
As
we do not advertise, We expect YOU to
spread the word, "HotelSweeneys.com"

Our
Core Clients should ask Dennis for the "small
order dockets", this way you, Just
fill them out at your table and hand them to me !!!
You will not need to line up at the counter.
Due
to requests, we NOW take Reservations for the Kitchen level @
lunch time, We will Need a name and Contact N°.
NB: The HOTEL does not run the Kitchen although we greatly appreciate
the staff assistance on our busier days.
ALL function bookings
will be placed in the Clarence Room or The
Roof Top Garden .
If you are fit and unsuccessful in your
attempts to capture a table on the Kitchen/Bistro level, you should
take a stroll up the stairs to the Clarence
room or the Roof Top Garden,
as the more frail are unable to complete this climb and your chances
of an empty table improve or we will simply expect U to come back
on a less busier day of the week !!!
Please
remember this is a Bistro ! ...... Silver service is
available
At
Edna's Table !
We are capable of
well over 120+ covers in 120 minutes ( a meal
every minute) on our frantic days, If you are interested
in letting us cater for your Function, I would suggest that you
give us pre warning & fill in this
form, we are always interested in making your function
a successful event. Once we receive your request we will then
get in contact with you ASAP (usually the next
day) to discus YOUR needs !
Unfortunately
from time to time we are overwhelmed by patrons that think that
simply by booking they will be placed in front of waiting patrons,
this is NOT the way WE do business !
We address the First to Order, First to be served policy.
We try to run a very efficient operation. We do however
REQUIRE your patience during our busy service times, especially
if YOU arrive, say after 1:00pm, there may well be 40+ people
that have not been fed in FRONT of YOU !!!
To
make our job's easier YOU should order
from the BLACKBOARD
MENUS, as these
are usually meals that are easier to serve/cook or have been specially
prepared for that day.
